Past is past...

I’ve learned that I still have a lot to learn

I’ve learned that no matter what happens, or how bad it
seems today, life does go on, and it will be better tomorrow. I’ve learned that
you can tell a lot about a person by the way he/she handles these three things:
a rainy day, lost luggage, and tangled Christmas tree lights. I’ve learned that
regardless of your relationship with your parents, you’ll miss them when they’re
gone from your life. I’ve learned that making a living is not the same thing as
making a life. I’ve learned that life sometimes gives you a second chance.
I’ve learned that you shouldn’t go through life with a catcher’s mitt on both
hands; you need to be able to throw some things back. I’ve learned that whenever
I decide something with an open heart, I usually make the right decision. I’ve
learned that even when I have pains, I don’t have to be one. I’ve learned that
every day you should reach out and touch someone. People love a warm hug, or
just a friendly pat on the back. I’ve learned that I still have a lot to learn.
I’ve learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you

Feelin Better Now

Last few days I felt like everything is messing up. I'm diagnose as hypertensive, its in our blood line so its not new to me, but what makes me feel sad is that i can no longer ate what I wanted. Grrrr...My life style should changed for good. I aslo had a big fight with my boyfriend and the relationship almost ended...that made me more upset. Feeling ko talaga the world is on my shoulder...ng low talaga ang self-esteem ko. Im been insecure sa lahat nang bagay feeling ko I'm worthless nobody cares and nobody loves me.. Self pity ang drama..but right now I came to realize that its part of being human, sometimes you need to face and conquer life's challenges for you to be able to know your worth. What happen made me more mature and been loving my self more. It made me understand that when things are not doing well just always think of the positive side of life. Learn to stand up then face life with a smile . Its always true that "God would always make a way where it seems to be no way". Everything happens for its own good reason. God would not give you problems that you can't handle. So when things go wrong just have faith.

The Color of Friendship...

Once upon a time the colors of the world started to quarrel. All claimed that they were the best. The most important. The most useful. The favorite.

GREEN said:
Clearly I am the most important. I am the sign of life and of hope. I was chosen for grass, trees and leaves. Without me, all animals would die. Look over the countryside and you will see that I am in the majority."

BLUE interrupted:
"You only think about the earth, but consider the sky and the sea. It is the water that is the basis of life and drawn up by the clouds from the deep sea. The sky gives space and peace and serenity. Without my peace, you would all be nothing."

YELLOW chuckled:
"You are all so serious. I bring laughter, gaiety, and warmth into the world. The sun is yellow, the moon is yellow, the stars are yellow. Every time you look at a sunflower, the whole world starts to smile. Without me there would be no fun."

ORANGE started next to blow her trumpet:
"I am the color of health and strength. I may be scarce, but I am precious for I serve the needs of human life. I carry
the most important vitamins. Think of carrots, pumpkins, oranges, mangoes, and pawpaws. I don't hang around all the time, but when I fill the sky at sunrise or sunset, my beauty is so striking that no one gives another thought to any of you."

RED could stand it no longer he shouted out:
"I am the ruler of all of you. I am blood - life's blood! I am the color of danger and of bravery. I am willing to fight for a cause. I bring fire into the blood. Without me, the earth would be as empty as the moon. I am the color of passion and of love, the red rose, the poinsettia and the poppy."

PURPLE rose up to his full height:
He was very tall and spoke with great pomp:
"I am the color of royalty and power. Kings, cheifs, and bishops have always chosen me for I am the sign of authority and wisdom. People do not question me! They listen and obey."

Finally INDIGO spoke, much more quietly than all the others,
but with just as much determination: "Think of me. I am the color of silence. You hardly notice me,
but without me you all become superficial. I represent thought and reflection, twilight and deep water. You need me for balanceand contrast, for prayer and inner peace."

And so the colors went on boasting, each convinced of his or her own superiority. Their quarreling became louder and louder. Suddenly there was a startling flash of bright lightening thunder rolled and boomed. Rain started to pour down relentlessly. The colors crouched down in fear, drawing close to one another for comfort.

In the midst of the clamor, rain began to speak: "You foolish colors, fighting amongst yourselves, each trying to dominate the rest. Don't you know that you were each made for a special purpose, unique and different?
Join hands with one another and come to me."

Doing as they were told, the colors united and joined hands.The rain continued: "From now on, when it rains, each of you will stretch across the sky in a great bow of color as a reminder that you can all live in peace. The Rainbow is a sign of hope for tomorrow."

And so, whenever a good rain washes the world, and a Rainbow appears in the sky,let us remember to appreciate one another.

PURPOSE DRIVEN LIFE

I got this very inspiring story on my email from a friend. The story might be simple but it was ended a very inspiring one. There were many lessons you would learned from the story. So I hope you spend a little of your time to read. Here it goes:

Rick Warren (REMEMBER HE WROTE 'PURPOSE DRIVEN LIFE')

also he did the debate with McCain and Obama.

You will enjoy the new insights that Rick Warren has, with his wife now having cancer and him having 'wealth' from the book sales. This is an absolutely incredible short interview with Rick Warren,

'Purpose Driven Life ' author and pastor of Saddleback Church in California . In the interview by Paul Bradshaw with Rick Warren, Rick said:

People ask me, What is the purpose of life? And I respond: In a nutshell, life is preparation for eternity. We were not made to last forever, and God wants us to be with Him in Heaven.

One day my heart is going to stop, and that will be the end of my body-- but not the end of me. I may live 60 to 100 years on earth, but I am going to spend trillions of years in eternity. This is the warm-up act - the dress rehearsal. God wants us to practice on earth what we will do forever in eternity. We were made by God and for God, and until you figure that out, life isn't going to make sense.

Life is a series of problems: Either you are in one now, you're just coming out of one, or you're getting ready to go into an other one.

The reason for this is that God is more interested in your character than your comfort.

God is more interested in making your life holy than He is in making your life happy. We can be reasonably happy here on earth, but that's not the goal of life. The goal is to grow in character, in Christ likeness.

This past year has been the greatest year of my life but also the toughest, with my wife, Kay, getting cancer. I used to think that life was hills and valleys - you go through a dark time, then you go to the mountaintop, back and forth. I don't believe that anymore. Rather than life being hills and valleys, I believe that it's kind of like two rails on a railroad track, and at all times you have something good and something bad in your life. No matter how good things are in your life, there is always something bad that needs to be worked on. And no matter how bad things are in your life, there is always something good you can thank God for.

You can focus on your purposes, or you can focus on your problems.

If you focus on your problems, you're going into self-centeredness, 'which is my problem, my issues, my pain.' But one of the easiest ways to get rid of pain is to get your focus off yourself and onto God and others.

We discovered quickly that in spite of the prayers of hundreds of thousands of people, God was not going to heal Kay or make it easy for her. It has been very difficult for her, and yet God has strengthened her character, given her a ministry of helping other people, given her a testimony, drawn her closer to Him and to people. You have to learn to deal with both the good and the bad of life.

Actually, sometimes learning to deal with the good is harder. For instance, this past year, all of a sudden, when the book sold 15 million copies, it made me instantly very wealthy. It also brought a lot of notoriety that I had never had to deal with before. I don't think God gives you money or notoriety for your own ego or for you to live a life of ease . So I began to ask God what He wanted me to do with this money, notoriety and influence. He gave me two different passages that helped me decide what to do, II Corinthians 9 and Psalm 72

First, in spite of all the money coming in, we would not change our lifestyle one bit. We made no major purchases.

Second, about midway through last year, I stopped taking a salary from the church.

Third, we set up foundations to fund an initiative we call The Peace Plan to plant churches, equip leaders, assist the poor, care for the sick, and educate the next generation.

Fourth, I added up all that the church had paid me in the 24 years since I started the church, and I gave it all back. It was liberating to be able to serve God for free.

We need to ask ourselves: Am I going to live for possessions? Popularity?

Am I going to be driven by pressures? Guilt? Bitterness? Materialism? Or am I going to be driven by God's purposes (for my life)?

When I get up in the morning, I sit on the side of my bed and say, God, if I don't get anything else done today, I want to know You more and love You better. God didn't put me on earth just to fulfill a to-do list. He's more interested in what I am than what I do. That's why we're called human beings, not human doings.

Happy moments, PRAISE GOD.

Difficult moments, SEEK GOD.

Quiet moments, WORSHIP GOD.

Painful moments, TRUST GOD.

Every moment, THANK GOD.

Got this cute award from friend Miemot. enk you dai..hehe What I need to do is to list ten cute random facts about me. So here it goes:

1. When I was a kid my parents thought that I'm going to be a lesbian cause I really don't like to play dolls. " pag palitan kung doll ky gina kurisan nku ang nawong"..haha... my favorite toy is a gun,dunno why love that thing..hehe...

2. I can't sleep without mosquito net..weeh...That's one habit I could not resist..hehe

3. I'm fun of giving nicknames with my childhood friends. I remember one of my friend, she use to play with me everyday, she's morena and beautiful so I name her " Inday Beauty"since then everyone call her that name..hehe..

4. I had various nicknames, My family and friends use to call me "lang" or "palang" short for "palangga", then "ling", "tong","molitong" and "moling" for my officemates. One thing in common all end up with "ng"..haha

5. I love to play sports like badminton, volleyball, basketball, and kickball but sad to say sports or any ball games doesn't suit me. So I ended up watching the games and wishing I could play with them one day..wawa..hehe

6. Almost all of my playmates during my childhood days are boys so I tend to follow there actions. Funny thing is I also pee like them..haha..hai...one thing for sure I'm not doing the same thing now..haha... Super girl na girl na po ako..heheh

7. I love to play with my fathers tummy, thats one thing I could never forget during my childhood years. "daku tyan ako tatay, ganahan ko mag bounce2x"...haha.. miss that thing so much...:(

8. High School days is not that good for me, its the time for adjustment for a new environment, new people and everything. But then i also had fun memories during that time.. I tend to sleep to the clinic even if I don't feel bad just to escape my Filipino class, cause I don't like my teacher.., I hated ROTC I felt like being tortured..haha.. since friday is our ROTC I always had a friday fever "naka set na kalinturahon ko every friday"..haha.. to get away from the class..waaahhh.. bad girl...mabait po ako...haha

9. College i s the best years for me... I really enjoy every moment... hai.. Everything that time seems perfect, though we have lots of projects and school works we manage to cope up things... Sobrang daming memories, good and bad...Dito ako natotong uminon and malashing..hahha... mag tambay sa boarding house, mag chika to the max ang ending hindi na nakapasok sa school...waaahh... nakaranas ng true love at masaktan ng tudo..charing..hehe... mawawala ba naman ang kumpayahan ever..haha... umiiyak dahil hindi naka defense at sobrang tuwa dahil naka pasa sa lahat ng subjects... hahai.. at pinaka the best sa lahat I found my real and true friends...ai..:)

10. 10 is my favorite number... I'm a super fan of Danny I..hehe... love Chito Miranda too...haha..

Dont Give Up!

These is a story that would lighten your way! It really hit me. Sometimes I tend to give up because of too much problem, sometimes I felt that life is so unfair so I better give up and stop everything. When I read this story It give me hope and see the lighter side of life...

------One day I decided to quit...
I quit my job, my relationship, my spirituality. .. I wanted to quit my life.
I went to the woods to have one last talk with God.

"God", I asked, "Can you give me one good reason not to quit?"
His answer surprised me...
"Look around", He said. "Do you see the fern and the bamboo?"

"Yes", I replied.
"When I planted the fern and the bamboo seeds, I took very good care of them.

I gave them light.

I gave them water.

The fern quickly grew from the earth.

Its brilliant green covered the floor.

Yet nothing came from the bamboo seed. But I did not quit on the bamboo.
In the second year the Fern grew more vibrant and plentiful.
And again, nothing came from the bamboo seed. But I did not quit on the bamboo. He said.
"In year three there was still nothing from the bamboo seed.

But I would not quit.
In year four, again, there was nothing from the bamboo seed. I would
not quit." He said.
"Then in the fifth year a tiny sprout emerged from the earth. Compared
to the fern it was seemingly small and insignificant. ..But just 6
months later the bamboo rose to over 100 feet tall.
It had spent the five years growing roots. Those roots made it strong and gave it what it needed to survive.
I would not give any of my creations a challenge it could not handle."
He asked me. "Did you know, my child, that all this time you have been struggling, you have actually been growing roots".

"I would not quit on the bamboo.

I will never quit on you."
"Don't compare yourself to others."

He said.

"The bamboo had adifferent Purpose than the fern.

Yet they both make the forest beautiful."
"Your time will come", God said to me.

"You will rise high"
"How high should I rise?"

I asked.
"How high will the bamboo rise?" He asked in return.
"As high as it can?" I questioned.
"Yes." He said, "Give me glory by rising as high as you can."
I left the forest and brought back this story. ---------------

I hope these words can help you see that God will never give up on you. Never, Never, Never Give up. For the Christian Prayer is not an option but an opportunity. Don't tell the Lord how big the problem is, tell the problem how Great the Lord is!

Why Boys Need Parents?

This is for those mother's of boys, sisters of boys, and boys that have grown older.
And anyone else who needs a laugh.
Why boys need parents...


And you also find out interesting things when you have sons, like...

1.) If you spray hair spray on dust bunnies and run over them with roller blades, they can ignite.

2.) A 3-year old Boy's voice is louder than 200 adults in a crowded restaurant.

3.) If you hook a dog leash over a ceiling fan, the motor is not strong enough to rotate a 42 pound Boy wearing Batman underwear and a Superman cape. It is strong enough, however, if tied to a paint can, to spread paint on all four walls of a 20x20 ft. room.

4.) When you hear the toilet flush and the words 'uh oh', it's already too late.

5.) Brake fluid mixed with Clorox makes smoke, and lots of it.

6.) A six-year old Boy can start a fire with a flint rock even though a 36- year old Man says they can only do it in the movies.

7.) Certain Lego's will pass through the digestive tract of a 4-year old Boy.

8.) Play dough and microwave should not be used in the same sentence.

9.) Super glue is forever.

10.) Garbage bags do not make good parachutes.

11.) Marbles in gas tanks make lots of noise when driving.

12.) You probably DO NOT want to know what that odor is.

13.) Always look in the oven before you turn it on; plastic toys do not like ovens.

14.) The spin cycle on the washing machine does not make earthworms dizzy.

15.) It will, however, make cats dizzy.

16.) Cats throw up twice their body weight when dizzy.

17.) 80% of Women will laugh about this and tell their friends, with or without kids.

18.) 80% of Men who read this will try mixing the Clorox and brake fluid.
