Kadayawan 2008

Madayaw na adlaw sa aking fellow bloggers. Were celebrating one of the biggest event happening in our city now the " KADAYAWAN FESTIVAL ". The theme for this year is "Musanay Lumadnong Kagikan, Yutang Kabilin Panalipdan!" (“Flourishing Indigenous Heritage, Protecting Ancestral Nations”).

A week full of surprises and events. Mall wide sales and bunch of tourist visit our city in this once a year event. Davao City is blessed, despite some war on the other side of Mindanao. Davao City stay peaceful and calm.

A few days ago, me and my colleague went to Ozmeña Park to see houses of Tribong Dabawenyo. It was created few weeks ago to allocate shelter for those tribes who want to celebrate the occasion and to show as all as well on how they lived. This year is all for our Indigenous fellow men. I also heard that the Hiyas ng Davao candidates was from all tribong dabawenyo, unlike those past years. This is more exciting and fun to watch, but sadly I did not witness this event..too bad..

It's not yet late, you can come and visit davao and enjoy the durian, events such as "Indak -Indak sa kadlanan ", "Floral Parade " and lots of night party.. c yah all!weeehh

What tah day!

08-16-2008 Saturday..It started after our shift me and my officemates decided to ate breakfast. We ended up eating in a small "karendiria" along bonifacio st. beside UIC (my collge school). After eating we decided to hangout @ Jay's crib. His place is small but supeh clean plus he has his unique sense of style that make his place more pleasing ..yepheee... We wait till 11a.m then I went home to have some rest. Raquel,Majar,Jay,Mylene and Ya Erwin went to Gaisano Mall of Davao to watch " A Very Special Love ".weeehhhh

5 pm my cousin wake me up. We will be going to Damosa to watch Auto Drift by PLDT my DSL. weeehh.. The show started 4 pm, we arrived around 7 pm..duh..hehe I though I could never witness those tricky moves..Luckily we catch on the last show of the night..perfect!...The show is awesome!... It is my first time to watch Auto Drift. It drive me crazy.. haha.. rock on...! Click Here to watch video on the event...

hmmm.. my day is not yet over..hehe..I have to separate ways w/ my cousins and go gimik with my college friends..weeeh... hazel and chai fetch me up @ Damosa. As usual, we don't have any idea were to go..what's new guys?!..haha... After a moment we decided to unwind @ rizal we watch the "calendar and bachelor show".. We reminisce old days again.. were a bit sad, cause we miss our other friends... we used to be 8 - 10 folks when we go out but now were only 3..huhu.. it is really sad.. but then we have to chill and enjoy the night ayt?..things are really changing now but were always be friends no matter what....hai..

Guess what? were not yet done..hehe... I guess about 12 midnight when we decided to go to other place, we get bored with the show - "mas pretty pa kami sa mga calendar babes -wahaha..tsk!tsk!"... we first thought of going to "bakbak or idol" along tores but when we pass on the place is too crowded.. grrrr.. so to spend our last stop we went to "Nezz 4 Cafe" along autoshop. We have some coffee and chitchat till 2 am... "Opaw" one of our close friend went there to accompany us as well..

That's it! My day ended well..weeeh .. 3am Im hope na..hehe.. I'm a bit tired but so happy...Special thanks to hazel lou for the ride...geee

If you find yourself out of coverage area of your mobile network and there is an emergency, dial 112 and the mobile will search any existing network to establish the emergency number for you, and interestingly this number 112 can be dialed even if the keypad is locked.**Try it out.**

2. Subject:Have you locked your keys in the car? Does you car have remote keys?
This may come in handy someday. Good reason to own a cell phone: If you lock your keys in the car and the spare keys are at home, call someone at home on their cell phone from your cell phone. Hold your cell phone about a foot from your car door and have the person at your home press the unlock button, holding it near the mobile phone on their end. Your car will unlock. Saves someone from having to drive your keys to you. Distance is no object. You could be hundreds of miles away,and if you can reach someone who has the other "remote" for your car, you can unlock the doors (or the trunk). Editor's Note:*It works fine! We tried it out and it unlocked our car over a cell phone!"*

3. Subject: Hidden Battery power
Imagine your cell battery is very low, you are expecting an important call and you don't have a charger. Nokia instrument comes with a reserve battery.To activate, press the keys *3370# Your cell will restart with this reserve and the instrument will show a 50 % increase in battery. This reserve will get charged when you charge your cell next time.AND

4. How to disable a STOLEN mobile phone?
To check your Mobile phone's serial number, key in the following digits on your phone: * # 0 6 # A 15 digit code will appear on the screen. This number is unique to your handset. Write it down and keep it somewhere safe. when your phone get stolen, you can phone your service provider and give them this code. They will then be able to block your handset so even if the thief changes the SIM card, your phone will be totally useless. You probably won't get your phone back, but at least you know that whoever stole it can't use/sell it either.If everybody does this, there would be no point in people stealing mobile phones.

would you still continue to care for that person?

bakit naman hinde? you didnt love that person para magkaroon ka ng alalay, magkaroon ka ng instant meal dahil libre, taong gagawa ng assignments mo or projects, or taong mahihila mo if you want to go out...

If thats what you think about love well sorry ang BABAW mo! loving a person doesn't need to have a criteria na dapat maganda o guwapo, dapat mabait or understanding, kasi once you fall inlove you take the risk of accepting dat person kahit maingay sya matulog, yung hilik ng hilik kahit matakaw sya o sobrang fat na hindi kayo kasya pag puno ang jeep!

kahit sobrang moody nya na kulang na lang ay sapakin mo sa inis! yung sobrang selosa/seloso na pati barkada pinagseselosan..

badtrip diba? and yung napaka-arte OA kung baga! o kahit ano pang things that would turn you off...hirap tlaga magmahal trying to be PERFECT kase.Gusto mong magtagal pero hindi yun ang sagot sa lahat... ACCEPTING the real person fully kase if you said na mahal mo sya you dont need to find answers kung bakit mo sya mahal...

kase lahat ng tao nagbabago but if you accept that person magbago man sya in the middle of your relationship hindi ka masasaktan kase you know that darating din yun.. tsaka tanggap mo sya ng buo... mahirap gawin pero masarap subukan dahil wala ng sasaya pa if you let one person feel na MAHAL NA MAHAL mo sya without asking 4 anything in return... then you can say wow un pla ang LOVE!

Nakakatawa talaga ang love. Isa siyang napakalaking oxymoron. Lahat ng pwede mong masabi sa kanya, baliktarin mo at totoo pa rin. Ang labo diba? Pero ang linaw. Masaya magmahal. Malungkot magmahal. Di mo
naiintindihan pero naiintindihan mo. Walang rason. Maraming rason. Di mo na kaya, pero kaya mo pa rin. Masakit magmahal. Pero okey lang. Sus, ano ba talaga?! May kaibigan ako, sabi niya dati "Love is only for stupid people." Nakakatawa kasi laude ang standing niya, pero dumating ang panahon, na-in-love din ang hunghang. At ayun, tanga na siya ngayon.

Lahat kasi ng nahahawakan ng love nagiging oxymoron din. O kaya paminsan, nagiging moron lang. Hindi lang kasi basta baliktaran ang pag-ibig. Lahat ng bagay nababaligtad din niya. Lahat ng malalakas na tao,
humihina. Ang mayayabang, nagpapakumbaba. Ang mga walang pakialam, nagiging Mother Teresa. Ang mga henyo, nauubusan ng sagot. Ang malulungkot, sumasaya.

Nakakatawa talaga. Lalo na kapag dumadating siya sa mga taong ayaw na talaga magmahal. Napansin ko nga eh. Parang kung gusto mo lang ma-in-love ulit, sabihin mo lang ang magic words na "Ayoko na ma-inlove!" biglang WACHA! Ayan na siya.Nang-aasar. Magpapaasar ka naman. Di ba nakakatawa rin na pagdating sa problema ng ibang tao, ang galing galing mo? Pero 'pag problema mo na yung pinag-uusapan parang nawawalan ng saysay lahat ng ipinayo mo dun sa namomroblemang tao? Naiisip mong wala namang mali dun sa mga sinabi mo. Pero bakit parang wala ring tama? Bali-baliktad din ang nasasabi ng mga taong tinamaan ng madugong pana ng pag-ibig.

"Ngayon ko lang nalaman ganito pala. Sabi ko na eh!" "Ang sarap mabuhay. Pwede na 'ko mamatay. Now na!" At hindi lang 'yon. Ang sarap din pagtawanan ng mga taong alam naman nilang masasaktan lang sila eh magpapatihulog pa rin sa bangin ng pag-ibig. Tapos 'pag luray-luray na yung puso nila, siyempre hindi sila yung may kasalanan. Siya! "Bakit niya 'ko sinaktan?" May kasama pang pagsuntok sa pader yon, at pagbabagsak ng pinto.

Mauubos ang buong magdamag ko kakasabi ng mga bagay na nakakatawa 'pag pag-ibig na ang pinag-usapan. Ang daming beses ko na kasi siya nakasalubong kaya masasabi ko nang eksperto na 'ko.
Pero wala pa rin akong alam. Pero ang pinakanakakatawa sa lahat ay ang katotohanang kapag gusto magpatawa ng pag-ibig, ipusta na mo na lahat ng ari-arian mo dahil siguradong ikaw ang punchline.
